I have Mr. Joo for a couple math classes this semester and he is quite the interesting professor. Here are a couple good quotes he left us with, as well as a problem he assigned.

When talking about zeroes…
“Didn’t God make us a great number? I LOVE that

“Homogeneous equations have alternate lifestyles”

“I know the book says yadee yadee yadee and blah blah blah, but thats because the book is stupid.”

Here is one of our problems that he made up for us:

“Each day, 200 unsuspecting children become new friends for life to a certain “jolly purple dinosaur.” Also, each day that “jpd” realizes that he is a big hungry carnivore and eats 10% of all his remaining friends. Let y(t) be the number of all his remaining friends after t days. Write differential equation and solve…”

and just because I know your wondering, the answer comes out to be y= Ce -1/10t + 2000. Poor kids.
